Instead of asking, “How do we deliver more?” ask, “What causes portfolio bottlenecks or delays – and how do we remove them?”
Instead of focusing on, “How do we accelerate decision-making?” ask, “What causes decision-making to slow down – and what steps can we take to streamline the process?”
Think of the opposite of things or from another vantage point.
