25 years! That’s how long we’ve been away from Sydney, Australia… our other home. 25 years — that’s how long we’ve not seen, in person, our true longtime friends… and can’t wait to see them again. Once you have someone special, you want to see them again. Today is that day to see them again!
We’ve planned (together with our friends) our meet-up way before our trip to the Philippines and Sydney. Can you imagine our excitement? It was high up there. So super excited to see our longtime friends again!
We had lunch (the place and food were so nice — we want to eat here again!)… while having lunch, we got busy exchanging stories, getting us all updated.
The feeling was as if we never left… as if 25 years ago was just yesterday. The years melted away so fast!
We continued on with our conversations with a long and pleasant stroll to Barangaroo. An incredibly special place… I want to see this again.
And, along the way to Barangaroo, we saw another 2023 FIFA World Cup poster…
We stopped by a famous donut shop: Shortstop Coffee and Donut at Barangaroo. Delicious!!!
Then we headed back to our hotel for more conversations!
Some light snacks…
whilst monitoring on telly the 2023 FIFA World Cup, currently being shown is a match between Australia and France (which is being held in Brisbane, Australia). The next match — later on that same night — is between England and Colombia which is going to be held in Sydney, Australia.
This was the highlight of our trip to Sydney, Australia — seeing our special longtime friends, again, after 25 years of being apart, maybe in distance but never in heart.
