You cannot manage what you cannot measure … in my case, I can manage my car’s speed … the heads-up display was a big help .. it showed how fast I was driving.
Note: I did not say the cliche: ‘You cannot improve what you cannot measure’. I intentionally said the word ‘Manage’ not ‘Improve’.
Sometimes, all that is needed is the ability to manage… and challenge (do not maintain) the status quo, survive and thrive.
